Finding my inspiration

English Tea Garden

I was inspired by English afternoon tea party from the olden days. The British started this tradition during the early 19th century when a Duchess was said to have complained numerous times about "having that sinking feeling" during the late afternoon. The solution for that was to prepare a pot of tea and a light snack during the afternoon.

Later, all of the fashionable society was sipping tea and nibbling biscuits in the afternoon, and the tradition continues till today.

I found vintage florals photos that I intend to merge it as the background for my mood board.

There are also some interesting supporting elements that I thought could focus on my main theme.

 This lovely rose could be placed at the corner of the mood board as a border.

This vintage lampshade could be a supporting element/ furniture for the tea party.
